There are a lot of good places to check out. Everybody says Stone is sweet. It's actually a little north of San Diego. For my money, Pizza Port is the place to go. If you like hot chicks, good beer and tasty pizza, check it out in Carlsbad. "I like it alot!":mug:
I totally agree. I found this one hard to force carbonate, but when I let it set for 2 weeks...holy poop!!! It was great! I am drinking as fast as Paris Hilton on spring break. If you haven't made this one, you are wrong!:drunk:
If you are looking at doing a batch, the regular amount of priming sugar should work. If you did a 5 gallon batch, dump in the same amount of sugar you would use for beer.
For those of you that have actually gone out of your way to ship HB to my military brothers...I thank you. The red, white and blue of 9/12/01 has faded and I know that we all appreciate your continued support.

Just came across this post and was wondering of this was still going on? As an active duty military type, I think that this is a great program. Even if the service member isn't a homebrewer, I know that any show of appreciation will be well received.
Thanks for all of your efforts.

Holy friggin sweet Zeus's mustache! This stuff rocks. I ran out of apple juice and substituted white grape juice. Ended up being 3/4 apple and 1/4 white grape and it is friggin' awesome. I kegged it and haven't been able to stop pulling from the tap.
Ed...what a simple and beautiful recipe.
Hey all,
I am buying a house in Temecula and am looking for any local homebrew activities. Are there any LHB stores or clubs in the area?
Thanks,
Justin
