The Three Rivers Underground Brewers will host the 7th annual Brewing Up A Cure on Saturday, October 12, 2013, at the PPG Wintergarden in downtown Pittsburgh. This unique beer-tasting event benefits the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and since its inception, the event has raised nearly $150,000 for the CFF!
TRUB members will be serving over 70 different home-brewed beers covering almost every style and we will also have some great commercial brewers in attendance and/or donating beer. It is a must for any craft beer lover to attend this event!
Brewing Up A Cure was started as a way for the members of Three Rivers Underground Brewers to both promote home-brewing and to support a cause that was close to all of their hearts, Cystic Fibrosis (CF). A member of the club, has a daughter who was born with CF. She is now 8 years old and doing well, but each day is a blessing. The money raised through Brewing Up A Cure directly helps her and all the others with CF continue to have many more tomorrows.
