I made this beer in memory of a good friend who has passed on recently. The recepie goes as:
10lbs 2row
2lbs flaked oats
1lb crystal 40
.5 lb crystal 80
.5 lbs crystal 120
.5lbs choocolate(350srm)
.5lbs carafa II(412srm)
.5lbs black patent(500srm)
2oz sorachi ace 60 min
2oz amarillo 5min
2oz cascade 5min
Rogue Pacman WYeast
I'm also going to put it on 2oz of untoasted oak chips and another .5oz each of cascade and amarillo hops in secondary. He loves stouts and anything big and bitter! Sot this stout had to be made. Went into primary with 5 gallons at 1.082. Can't wait for this one to be done!
