Just made a Russian Imperial Stout with bourbon added to the keg. My question is, if bourbon has a very low gravity, will it float to the top above the beer, leaving me with a very strong last few pints? Or does the carbonation help with mixing? Just curious.
Thanks

The bourbon and beer are both water-based, so they will happily stay mixed. If you racked onto the bourbon you're probably fine, but if you just poured the bourbon on top a gentle shake or two (once the keg is purged) should guarantee that it's mixed up.

Agreed you are probably thinking about the mixed drink tendancy for the liquor to seem to stratify to the bottom of the glass if you let it sit for too long. Usually that is due to the ice melting and layering on top instead of any actual settling. It will be delicious. no worries.
