I've recently picked up some Goldswaen Brown Malt on the cheap and I'd like to use it. I've brewed some Brown Ale's in the past, but never with this malt. I tossed this recipe together and was going to give it a whirl next weekend, but thought I'd see if anyone else has advice prior to brewing:

-Belgian Pale 6 Lb. (72.7%)
-Goldswaen Brown Malt 1Lb. (12.1%)
-Caravienne 1Lb. (12.1%)
-Aromatic 4oz. (3.0%)

For beers like this (where my wife won't drink), I usually just brew a few gallons. Mash in @ 152F. The hop schedule will be very generic targeting ~20 IBUs.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Yeah, that makes almost 25% crystal. I would drop the caravienne and maybe add like 2% chocolate malt.
