i just bottled a russian imperial stout (brewer's best brand extract kit).
according to the recipe, it should yield 7 - 8%
calculating ABV from SG before bottling gives 5.8%, but how do i calculate final ABV? i added 5 oz priming sugar to the five gallon batch.

Adding 5oz of sugar should yeild a very negligible increase in ABV... probably not even worth calculating.
EDIT: Looks like it added about .2%.... so you are now 6.1%
