Co2 leak

I just installed a new gage on my co2 regulator. I sprayed with star San and I have a leak at the gage. I thought about using pipe tape on it, but thought others may have an idea

Assuming you mean the leak is around the gauge stem threads, yes, pipe tape or dope is appropriate there...

Thanks. I took it to Praxair and we added tape and tightened it with a wrench. We tested and it has held pressure for an hour. Time to hook to keg
