I am trying to brew a beer like Genny Cream ale or Grolsch.

The brew store sold me Dingman's Pilsen grain but the color is way to dark.
Is this the correct grain to use?

Yes, Pilsen grain is about as light as you can possibly get. It's a good base malt for Grolsch, 6-row is usually more appropriate for a cream ale, but pilsen will work just fine.

You will need to provide more information. What other grains are you planning to use? How much of each?

I have made three batches and they are in the last week of fermentation.
All three are dark in color.
Nothing yet comes close to the pale yellow color I am seeking.
Will it clear in the bottle?

How big are the containers they are in?

Beer looks darker in a carboy or bucket than it will in a glass because there's more volume of liquid so light can't get through it.

Can you post a picture?
