On our trip around the USA, our first brewery stop was at Deschutes in Bend Oregon. It was a lot of fun and it looks like a great place to work if your one of the lucky few. I tried about four different samples and my favorite was their Inversion IPA, though I really do like the Fresh Squeezed too. I had a Black Butte Porter as well. Well, after the brewery tour, we went down town to the brewpub, for a couple more and a real nice burger. Do visit if you get the chance!

If you are still in Bend be sure to check out Rat Hole Brew Pub. And give my regards to Les.

Crux is probably my favorite brewpub. But yeah, Deschutes was sweet to walk through. Love the mass rows of jacketed conicals.

We're in Rupert Idaho now, know of any breweries around here?
