Has anyone had any luck using CBPi for an electric biab? If so, what obstacles did you encounter? Reason i ask is i was just gifted a rasppi3 and am thinking about converting my pid system. Thx in advance.

I'm using CraftbeerPi3 on Brew Day. Also using it for Kegerator temp controller.
Obstacles were few, mainly getting the controller made. Operation is pretty simple. I don't automate much though, just manually set things in the GUI.
I use my phone to access the web GUI, which I don't like because of the small screen, but it works.
I used a Pi 3 also. I used a Terragady 4.2 board also.
Most of the problems I encountered were my own mistakes. If you have particular questions, post them and you'll get answers.
There's a lot of info on that big CraftbeerPi thread.
