Hi all.

In the past few months I finally settled on the Brewzilla G4, but the supplier I buy from just upped the price by $140, meanwhile the 220v version hasn't changed... so I feel like they're gouging, and in this current climate of corporate greed I'm really disappointed and looking elsewhere. Does anyone know of a better price in Canada at all? I'm considering driving down to the US for the one I really want, the Anvil Foundry 10.5 if I can't find it. I'm only 500k round trip to the border..

Actually no... I've been following their prices since the Brewzilla 3.x days and I was greatly tempted by that fantastic deal..I did however read the fine print: They had a shipment of units with blemishes and possibly small dents so they started by knocking the price to about $200 off and incrementally rose it as they sold off the least attractive units. Their price is now in line with the same everyone else charges. Given that'd you be hard put to do a high gravity brew that nets you a finished full 5 gallons in a keg, I opted to either finish building my 3V system or (what I'm leaning futher toward now) a 20G BIAB.
I know we have another fellow Canuck on here who did buy one.. I meant to ask about the blemishes but I forget who it was..hopefully they'll chime in here.
As to Anvils, do any of these prices appeal?:

PS: If you're considering driving south, you may want to consider something a little more versatile that everyone on this site who has one, loves:

Just a thought.

Ahhh I didn't know they were selling blemished ones. That wouldn't bother me at all, but maybe they ran out of those and I'm annoyed for no reason.

I'd actually like 10g batches, so maybe copying your system would be a better idea, but while I'm experienced in fermenting, im new to all grain. I feel a little intimidated trying to design a biab. Maybe I should research that a little further before I pull the trigger. I don't have a local home brew shop.. I have to drive 5 hr round trip or order online. I miss having a local shop..

If it helps, here's some of my current considerations:

..and here's the pump (I own a couple of them);

No one else makes those flase bottoms, and Wilser bags are about the best you can get.
There's a number of threads on here about Bobby's BIAB system, and while being in Canada makes buying the whole thing extra costly, there are still a number of Canucks on here who followed the "Buy Once, Cry Once" and did so with no regets....If I weren't so near poverty (disabled on the job in Canada :p), I'd buy his turnkey 20G set and damn the shipping and taxes.
That said; the above links are my financially practical potential compromise.
