Homebrew and "Porn"?

I know, they go hand in hand...but this kind of surprised me a bit. The new BYO arrived today and I'm flipping through the pages as normal. Nothing overly exciting...then this banner ad catches my eye...Adam & Eve...Adult Novelty and DVD's, with our very own discount code!

I believe it was Coleen Heingartner. Page 7 lists her as the Art Director for BYO and was in charge of the "redesign of BYO's regular departments"

I'm not in the world of magazine layouts and publishing, but I thought it was done terrible this issue. One big example is where they had the pics of the authors, smaller than the size of a stamp yet they left a whole block of space blank?

Pages 12, 15, 17, 21, 25, 36, 42, 43, 51, 55, 59, 72, all have strange extra whitespace and it looks like the margin sizes have increased, as well.

Ohhhhh..... I've been doing it wrong all this time.... So the dirty pictures stuck to the carboy don't help the yeast finish things off? No wonder the wife was questioning some of my brewing techniques.
