Hey guys, I'm a rookie brewer. I live in a dry country so access to ingredients is limited.
I made two batches and I don't know what type of beer they are. here are the details:
Batch#1:
6lb LME briess light Pilsen + 1lb Grain Pilsen + saflager S-23 + Hallertau Mittelfruh (German) Hop Pellets 1 oz (60mins boil) + irish moss. I fermented the batch in a cold temperature (42F)
Batch#2
6lb LME briess light Pilsen + 1lb Grain Pilsen + safbrew T-58 + Hallertau Mittelfruh (German) Hop Pellets 1 oz (60mins boil) + irish moss. I fermented the batch in a room temperature.
So basically the only difference between the two batches is the yeast (Safbrew VS. Saflager) and the temperature in which I fermented. what type of batches did I just make? I'm guessing the first one is a Pale Lager? what about the 2nd one?
Thanks
