I have this old Igloo refrigerator that I converting into a lagering box.
The other night I took it apart to clean it and didn't find a compressor. The refrigerator appears to have three parts: a heat sink, a fan and a control unit. It works fine, got down into the 30's overnight.
I have two questions -

I have two questions -
- Can someone explain how this unit cools?
- Does anyone see a problem with running the unit on its back? It doesn't have a compressor and the heat sink is on the top of the refrigerator (not on the back).
