When will the beer be free?
New bk build done, but I placed two 1650w elements in my bk and they slightly touch in a very small spot. Will this cause issues? Should I pull and give them a small bend to make some space?
Is it okay if the elements touch each other?

It's likely to cause scorching or burning where they meet - there will be a lot of heat in one spot. Possibly not a big issue, but if it's easy to bend the elements then you know it'll be ok.
Yeah, that just sounds intrinsically risky. Bend them both a wee bit

+1 on both of these. That will be a lot heat right there where they touch.
You can probably survive as is, but I would suspect that you will end up getting darker beer than planned, not to mention that will need to work harder to clean them after every brew.

Even if you don't get ectoplasmic residue in your beer, element failure would be, er, bad.
Bits of grain or hops will get caught and burn. Rauchbier anyone?

my elements would touch, so I slightly bent one up and the other down. No touching tips!
