Hey all,

Without getting torn apart too much...I have never bought the expensive kegerator line cleaning kits thinking that giving all the components a once over with oxi-clean would work just as well every 2-3 kegs worth of beer. I have been noticing that my beer has been tasting a lot better out of bottles than out of my kegerator, especially in my most recent Bells Two Hearted clone where there is almost no hop aroma in a beer that should smell wonderful. Should I go out and buy one of those cleaning kits? Or is there something else going on here? The system is a little over a year old.

Thanks!

i run 3-4 pitchers of scalding water and starsan through my lines when i'm swapping out kegs. you could also just throw some cleaner in there if you're worried. that's going to be a better cleaner than the boxed kind you're describing.
