Is it just me or do lagers condition better in glass carboys.

When i lager in a glass carboy the beer comes out clearer and cleaner
then if i lager in a keg.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Tim

No, I haven't noticed that at all. Unless it's because of the additional racking, because the sediment is left behind when it's moved to the keg, there shouldn't be a bit of difference in the vessel that is used.

I've exclusively used Better Bottles for my lagering. I've been very pleased with the results. There's always a tiny bit of yeast left behind when I rack to the keg, which makes the extra step worth it to me.
