Have a nice RIS that was brewed March 2018, bottled in Dec. Brewed with some yeast (I can't remember, I'd have to look it up if the strain matters), and I bottled it with cbc-1 cask yeast.

Problem is, I had a bad capper, so no carbonation.

Capper has been replaced, and beers are carbed again...yay.

How can I salvage this RIS? Can I pop 'em, then drop some sugar in and recap them? Or is the yeast too far gone?

Yeah I don't see why you couldn't just uncap them and add more sugar as long as you're sure the yeast ate through the original sugar you added. I would probably add some more yeast too. Can't hurt to get some fresh yeast in there.

Maybe I will crack a couple and split a sugar cube between them and recap. See how they do.
