I had to have one of these to listen to my cassette tapes in my first car. (1976 pontiac sunbird)

Yeah, had one of those. Also had a converter that would rip VHS tapes to CD-ROM. Of course, CD-ROM is now a ghost format with nothing left to play all those CDs. DVD is also going the way of the Do-Do Bird. Don't know what I'll do when streaming one day gets replaced.

It all started with the BetaMax. Damn you Sony! I knew it was a mistake to be an early adopter.

wait my blu-ray 'burner' in my computer still play cd's and dvd's...and bluray's? and i got a stack of blank blu-ray's too?
