What did I just do?

I'm an IDIOT!

I just dumped my trub on the bottom valve for the second time about to cold crash and I forgot to take out the air line.

As you can see in th epic I have an open glass cup instead of an airlock and about 1 cup of water that was mixed with star san that was sitting open air for three weeks just sucked into my 14 gallon batch.

Did I ruin it?

+1 this ^^^. RDWHAHB. It's not ruined until you know it's ruined. If you had Starsan in the cup, chances are, there aren't any nasties that'll hurt your beer, and a cup of diluted Starsan will have no affect on 5 gals of beer. Ed

Most of the time suck back due to temperature/pressure change can be prevented by having the blow off jar below the bottom level of the fermentor.
