Wine/Beer filter recommendations

No matter how I search I just can't find the information I'm looking for. Basically, I'm looking to find a wine/beer filter to add a final polish to my beer/wine. I've had my eye on the Buon Vino Mini Jet, but plates are expensive and the actual unit is still really expensive.

Does anyone know a cheap way to get started filtering wine. I dont just want a gravity fed system. Maybe a hand pump would be good. Co2 would be hard, but doable as well.

do a search Search this forum button in the main equipment section screen) on "beer filter" or "filtering" many including myself have made them with a standard 10" filter housing. I use a self priming food grade parastalic pump.
