Yeast rehydration

Hello.
I'm about to make beer, but there's a topic that I'm not sure what to do...

How do I rehydrate the yeast?

Most manufactures provide best practice for the rehydration of their yeast. Go to their web site. They know their yeast best, that would be the best place to go.

If you do a generic "How to hydrate dry yeast" internet search, you will find a wide variety of answers and procedures. All different. If they are all different, they all cannot be best.

I expect you will get several/many "this us what i do and I never have a problem" replies in this thread. For best results, follow the brand's procedure.

Following the manufacturers recommendation (as @RufusBrewer already suggested) is a good starting point.

If you check out some of the 2020/2021 videos from Fermentis and/or Lallemand you may come across the concept of a "stressful" wort.
