Hooo boy. Did @Rish ever come through! Talk about a fun assortment of beers! And I even got to sample one before my week-long dryspell. Top notch!

    Issues dialing in my stirplate

How many RPM does your stirpate do at its lowest setting? A 2" bar needs a nice slow even ramping of speed to keep from being thrown. And they are very finicky at high speed as well - infact, I think they are preferred for mixing without generating a lot of surface turbulence. That doesn't...

Help with patio and driveway materials

If I didn't know any better, I'd say it's old asphalt. If you are a Model T guy who enjoys any color (as long as it's black), then you can get yourself a bunch of driveway seal coat and throw down a coat or two. It's certainly one of my favorite summer jobs, in addition to roofing.

Only two weeks later than I hoped with smaller seedlings than normal, but finally got the whole garden in. Including the squash/pumpkin/corn unfenced "deer foodplot".

    Is this too left-field???

I think the concept and likely outcomes are both great, but the rehydrated pomace would probably give you staggering liquid losses. But if you could find an easy way to get just the skins, it would be a different story. I core/peel/spiralize tons of apples for drying, and those peels make for...

Cast Iron Draft Tower Build for 3 taps

We've got a 4" one at work from the 1950s. That awkward situation where it's stupidly expensive to replace, but we haven't used one in decades either - so dust collector it is!

    Multiple Concurrent Small Batch Brewing

For simplicity sake, I'd vote Mr. Beer Though there may be a copyright issue out there that I'm forgetting about....

Finally figured out why one of our more popular birdhouses hasn't been populated recently.

If I didn't know any better, I'd say everything made it intact despite my rag-tag packaging supplies!

    Random Picture Thread

I am always looking for a brewing assistant, but you at least gotta have hands! Also, HOW'D YOU GET IN HERE AND UP THERE?!?

Gee whiz, what are you guys doing for corn these days?

Well yeah - all that corn is for feed, not for food! My house beers share cracked corn from the chickens at $0.30/lb. Beers I share with strangers get grits from the bulk-packed store for $0.90/lb.
