Modified SS Brewbucket

Hi all,

I have a bucket and I don't like taking the whole lid off for hopping and other additions. I grabbed the new domed lid and also relocated the cooling coils from the ftss. I think it came out pretty good.

Looks great! Good to know the domed lid fits the brew bucket though I expected it would since the 7g Chronical is mostly the same. I've been wanting to get the domed lid so I can fill to 6g and have more space for krausen.

Thanks. The modification wasn't too hard with the 17mm bore saw they sell, just measure twice and go slow.

This will now work for my needs until I upgrade to a chronical.

I was worried about both the thermowell and coils fitting but it fit just fine. The upper fitting for the coils is at the 5.0 gallon mark (4.5" from the top rim)

Does anyone know if this would also fit the mini brew bucket?

The mini bucket lid is smaller than the regular 7gal brew bucket so I doubt it would fit.
