Damn, this is in my area and I had no idea...
Be sure to get on the waiting list then... I'd imagine a lot of people on the list won't be able to make it when people cancel, especially if it's last minute.

Seattle is no less inaccessible from Bellvue as the strip in San Diego was at last year's conference. It is a friggin' 15 minute bus ride.
This will be my first and I am ready! I'll be traveling from the DC area ready to enjoy! See you all there...

Is anyone holding on to a reservation at any of the hotels that they have intentions of canceling. My name came up on the waiting list but I'm not going to huff it 12 blocks after a day of drinking.
We will make sure there are events planned in Seattle and elsewhere that are documented, mapped, and will likely have transportation to.
Will those events in Seattle be posted on the NHC website? I was a day too late in pulling the trigger to buy tickets to register, but I'm still headed to Seattle for the event. Its a good excuse to visit a friend out there. So if there is a list of "other" events outside of the official registered/ticketed events, I'd like to take a look.
Wow. Long trip in from Boston. They did release some waiting list tickets a couple days ago. You may want to look into them.
I would think the events will be posted on the NHC site. WAHA is coordinating with the AHA, so it seems likely that any events will be posted on the event website. I'm sure the event postings will find their way onto HBT as well via myself or other local members.
Anyone have a spare ticket?
Some of the events during the NHC timeframe in Seattle are starting to post. Here is the link in case you are not on the AHA mailing list to receive the notices.

PS. If you scroll through the list you will find Naked City presently listed on at least one event. If you get over there you may get a chance to say Hey to Don, (HBT ID Brewtopia) and he loves meeting HBT'ers.
Glad you'll be making it up to Seattle Shooter. I hadn't heard too much on non-alcohol related events, but it's not a bad question. I'll shoot the question/idea to some of the people making decisions and see what they have to say.

I have 2 tickets I cannot use.
I cannot reach anyone at AHA about the unwanted tickets.
Does any one know who I need to talk to about getting a refund?
thanks!

If anyone has two tickets I'll take them off their hands.
I think that I have mine sold, I will let you know if it falls through...
Chris from AHA just called me and I got two tickets.
You just walk in the room before the scheduled lecture time and take a seat. No lines, no registration. Some are more popular than others so a few might be standing, but most I've been to at the last three conferences had seats available. Show up ~5 minutes early and you shouldn't have a problem with a seat.Spring_Chicken said:How does one register for the lectures and other individual events at the conference? Is it the day of? If so how long is the line usually? Would I need to show up pretty early?
