I'm new to kegging, so i was trying out my keg with star san. when ever i reach 7 1/2 psi my release valve on the regulator releases. tried the other and it does the same thing. what am i doing wrong?

Are you sure you're looking at the PSI scale? It sounds like you might be setting 7.5 BAR (which would surely blow a relief valve!)

No its the psi. I was supposed to keg today, but i guess i'll have to wait till i figure this out

It was a faulty gauge
