Sizing down an AG 5-gal kit: it's just simple math, right?

Sorry if this seems like a silly question...

I've recently received two AG kits for 5 gallon batches. The grains were all mixed in a single bag for each recipe.

Going to use an AF 6.5 to brew. Figured I'd split each recipe down the middle and do 2/2.5gal batches. So I'll weigh the grain and split down the middle? I'd knock back the hop additions similarly?

Fermenting in corny kegs, so along the same lines, if I sized a batch to make 4.5gal into the fermenter, it's just simple percentages to dial it in?

On the face it seems simple, just checking that there wasn't some brewing voodoo I need to be aware of! :D

Pretty much. But you'll need more than 1/2 the original total water volume for each batch, because things like boil off and dead spaces (if any) are constants, i.e. they don't scale with batch size.
