Since I have everything in kegs, I often mix ales. Once in a while, I'll hit a perfect ratio and then spend hours trying to figure out how to brew that ale. Some of them I just don't think can be done. Black & Blue is 1 part blackberry cider and four parts Palmer Porter. The Porter is six months old, the cider only a month. I suspect in another month, they will combine differently.
Other combinations don't work. A shot of Wet Hopped IPA in a pint of porter tastes almost the same as straight WHI, just slightly drier.
