So I've been trying different ways to do a neipa. I taste it throughout the fermentation process. I usually will do 5oz in a whirlpool at 170 for 20 minutes a, 5oz at the end of fermentation, and 4 oz during a soft crash. In my tasting notes towards the end of fermentation before I dry hop I really get no hop flavor. So I'm starting to wonder if I can save some $ or maybe use less hops during the whirlpool.
