This is my 3d lager and 15th brew, most of the recipies I've crafted have influence from this forum, I feel its time to share.
I love fine german Pilsner and finally I dared to craft one of my own.
The ingredients are below. The 2 different Pilsener malt is what I had but I doubt it matters much, the "cara" same story. The 60 mins hops was in my freezer so no big thought there however the 5min hops are the boss, total boil time is 90min first 30 with no hops, just removing hot break. I've started to use Lactic Acid in spagre water after having a Lite lager taste like tea (my 2nd lager).
The result is exactly as I dreamed of, clean slightly hoppy (from 5mins hops) smooth Pilsener. It is has not yet cleared completly but it will/may in one or two month, I choose not to put isinglass in this one.
