    Baltimore, MD

I'll be in Baltimore today and tomorrow for work. Where are good places to buy beers there and what should I be looking for that I can't get in Texas? I'm a big fan of IPAs but I enjoy all styles.

    Is it worth it?

I've been considering buying some of the beers I can't find here locally (Hopslam, Two Hearted, Zombie Dust, Pliny, St. Lupulin, etc) online. I know a lot of people here have shipped homebrew with good results. So, my question is, is it worth it? Will I be tasting the beers the same way I would...

I've got everything to make a Zombie Dust clone except this time I wanted to try making it without all Citra hops. So I went by my LHBS and picked up some other options. Anyone feel like taking a swing at what the hop schedule should look like? (All of the hops listed below are leaf hops with...

    Good idea, or not?

I have about 3 quarts of prickly pear fruit juice and about 5 pounds of loquats. Do you think these flavors would work well together in a mead?

Not beer equipment, but maybe related?

I'm trying to get rid of these tools and I figured seeing as I was also open for trade I might as well try it here too. And here's a link to my Craigslist posting... http://houston.craigslist.org/tls/2965172605.html

first all grain. quick OG question

I ended up with 4 gallons after boil. My thermometers are reading between 82 to 84. When I took a gravity reading it read at 1.064. According to the conversion chart that came with my hydrometer at this temp my gravity is actually 1.089. Is this correct? Does this put my 4 gallons over 11%...
