Hi all, I found these bottles for sale individually at a local Ross store. Not sure if they will hold up to carbonation pressure, so I thought I'd ask before I waste 33.75 oz of beer. I did a search for that particular brand on here, but didn't get any results. Here's a link to pictures of them.

I bought 4 because that's all they had. Can I use them for beer or not?

Thanks.

probably not, they might explode ... I don't think a square is a very strong shape for a bottle.

From the description, it's meant to hold oils and dressings. Doesn't seem like it's designed to hold pressure. I'm not saying for certain that it won't work, but I would be unwilling to use it for my own beer.

I'd suggest using it for a batch of Apfelwein if you ever make some. This could be bottled without carbonation. Also, the clear bottle wouldn't affect it, as there is nothing to skunk.
