I started a strawberry wine last night and didn't expect such an expansion of the fruit cap. I probably should have used a bag so I could weigh down the solids but I did not so now the pulverized fruit is comeing up through the bubbler. To combat this I transfered some of the liquids to a sealable bottle and fridged it till I can either get another airlock or till the fruit cap sinks. Is this the right move or will fridging the excess cause unforseen problems down the road
